Excellence Guidelines

Learning a new language can be confusing. We assure you that we use only the best resources in our lesson planning. Our curriculum guidelines are outlined by:
CCLB
The Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) standard is a descriptive scale of language ability in English as a Second Language (ESL) written as 12 benchmarks or reference points along a continuum from basic to advanced.
LINC
The LINC curriculum is governed and funded by the Canadian Government and has a list of topics and lessons readily available for teachers.
CiU CURRICULUM
CiU is a leader in facilitator training. Their curriculum will be used for mindfulness techniques that will be incorporated in all aspects of language learning.

Meet the teacher
Reema Bazzi, OCELT, ICTEAL, BBA

Founder

Hello and welcome!
My name is Reema and I am a certified Teacher of English as a Second Language. My teaching philosophy is to help adults realize and grow their potential. My inspiration is my grandma, who came to Canada in her 50s, and unfortunately did not know how to read or write. Although she was still very smart, she would constantly tell me how much she wished she was literate. My second inspiration is my father, who came to Canada in the 1970s, and the first thing he did was learn English. With much dedication and help from a great ESL teacher, he became successful. I believe that language learning is personal and with the right tools, the process will allow you to grow in every area of your life.
Look below for my teaching certificates from TESL Ontario as well as a Professional Development Certificate in Facilitator Training!

Nice to meet you!
